The GC Digital Fellows also play a role in helping researchers explore creative solutions for projects as part of The Digital GC, a vision of The Graduate Center that incorporates technology into its core research and teaching missions. The following resources offer support for students at The Graduate Center who are interested in working on a digital dissertation.

• The New Media Lab works with faculty and students in a variety of disciplines who want to create multimedia projects based on scholarly research. Graduate students who are part of the lab community may also be eligible for the Digital Dissertation Award.  
• The ITP (Interactive Technology and Pedagogy) Certificate Program offers training and coursework.
• Members of the CUNY Academic Commons are welcome to join the Digital Dissertations group, a forum for discussion and announcements. 
• HASTAC (Humanities, Arts, Science, and Technology Alliance and Collaboratory) also hosts a Digital Dissertations group with an active international forum.
• Opportunities for financial support can be found on the GC Digital Initiatives Fellowships & Grants page. 

The GC also offers additional venues for skills training.

• The CUNY Digital Humanities Resource Guide is a crowd-sourced guide to tools and tutorials.
• Each semester the GC Digital Fellows offer a workshop series. Additional workshops are taught by the Graduate Center Library.
