Digital Storytelling with Maps on CartoDB
Tuesday, November 10th 6:30-8:00pm
This workshop will introduce basic concepts in geographical information systems (GIS) using the open source CartoDB platform. It is meant for beginners who are new to GIS and looking to get started but aren’t sure where to begin. It will cover some of the basics of working with geospatial data and how to create basic map using points and shapes.
This workshop will be hosted by Michelle Johnson-McSweeney and Ian Phillips.
